Project Based Management Structure – TGA Core TeamOn every Framework Commission, irrespective of size, TGA Consulting Engineers establish a “Core Team”. This
Team is comprised of:
A
Project Partner who is ultimately responsible for the project and for
liaison with principals within the Client’s organisation and those
of our fellow design team members. A Project Associate who is responsible for the
management of the project within the office. The Project Associate
will ensure that the project is adequately resourced to meet the
agreed programme and will implement the Practice's Quality Management
System by signing off project deliverables such as drawings,
specifications and calculations and by chairing frequent project
review meetings. Two Lead Project Engineers, usually one mechanical and
one electrical, though we sometimes add a third to cover ICT issues on
projects with significant computer data / telephony systems. The
Project Engineers are experienced Senior Engineers who will take the
Lead Engineer roles in their technical discipline for the project. On small projects the Project Engineers may work
without further technical support and one of the Project Engineers may
also be the Project Associate. This Core Team is intended to form a consistent
framework which enables a larger TGA team to be built around it during
the appropriate stages of the developing project. The Core Team will
be the visible face of the project encouraging the formation of team
spirit within the wider Design and Construction Teams and providing
consistent communications between TGA, the Client, the Design Team and
the Construction Team.
